“Salahuddin Ayubi” will be aired soon, Humayun Saeed
Senior actor Humayun Saeed has given an update to the fans regarding the upcoming Pakistani-Turkish joint drama ‘Salahuddin Ayubi’ and said that the said series will be aired soon.
Humayun Saeed shared a video of Salahuddin Ayoubi’s producers Dr. Kashif Ansari and Syed Junaid Ali Shah watching the preparations for the drama set in Turkey and told the fans that preparations for the drama are in full swing.
In the video shared by him, the producers showed the drama sets under construction in the beautiful places of forests and mountains of Turkey and said that the work of drama is in full swing and shooting will start only after the construction of these sets.
In the shared video, people in different places can be seen making different kinds of drama sets.
Sharing the video, Humayun Saeed said that the preparations for the shooting of ‘Salahuddin Ayubi’ are in full swing, after which the shooting of the series will start.
He gave the good news to the fans that ‘Salahuddin Ayubi’ will be aired soon, however, he did not elaborate further.
If the set work for the play is completed by the end of this year, then the shooting will start next year and then in 2024 the first season will probably be aired.

Regarding the play, producer Dr. Kashif Ansari told BBC Asian in December 2021 that after the first phase of audition for the play, four Pakistani actors Ayesha Omar, Ashna Shah, Farhan Agha and Adnan Jilani have joined the cast. While more actors are being cast, work is underway.
Earlier, Adnan Siddiqui had also said in an interview in September 2021 that the main character of the militant Salahuddin Ayubi would be played by Turkish actors and not by Pakistanis.
He had said that the play has four Pakistani-born producers, including him and actor Humayun Saeed, while the other two producers include Pakistani-American Dr. Kashif Ansari.
The actor had said that besides Pakistan, there are several producers of the said drama from Turkey.

In response to a question, Adnan Siddiqui had said that only 25% of the cast of the historical drama would be Pakistani while the entire shooting of the first season of the said drama consisting of three seasons would be done in Turkey.
According to him, the first season of the drama will be shot entirely there and within next four months Pakistani actors will be sent there and the said drama will be made like a web series and it will have at least three seasons, each. There will be 34 episodes in the season.
