What is the form of HE-AAC?

Introduction to AAAA
HE-AAC (often referred to as AAP) is a lossy compression system for digital audio and is short for High Performance Advanced Audio Encoding. It is optimized for use with audio streaming where a low re-rate is required such as Internet radio, streaming music services, etc. There are currently two versions of this compression scheme known as HE-AAC and HE-AAC V2. The second analysis uses more refined features and is more standardized than the first version (HE-AAC).

Support for HE-AAC format

First version of HE-AAC

Developers of Coding Technologies first created a compression system by integrating Spectra Bandwidth (SBR) into AAC-LC (Low Complexity AAC) – the trade name the company uses is CT-aacPlus. SBR (also known as coding technologies) is used to enhance audio by effectively coding high frequencies. This coding enhancement technology, which is particularly good for running voice transmission, works by creating high frequencies at a low rate – it is stored at 1.5 Kbps.
In 2003, AAA V1 was approved by the MPEG organization and included in their MPEG-4 document as an audio standard (ISO/IEC 14496-3:2001/Amd 1:2003).

Another version of HE-AAC

CodeAEA V2, which was developed by Coding Technologies, is an improved version of the already released e-AAA and was officially designated by the company as Enhanced AAC+. . This second revision is called parametric stereo.

As well as AAA-LC and SBR to efficiently encode audio in the first revision of AAAAC, this second version also has an additional device called parametric stereo. It focuses on effectively compressing stereo signals. Instead of working across the frequency spectrum, in the case of SBR, a parametric stereo device works by using information about the differences between the left and right channels. This side information can then be used to define the spatial arrangement of the stereo image in the audio file based on this EAAA V2. When decoders use this additional spatial information, it can be reliably (and efficiently) reproduced during playback while maintaining the bitrate of the streaming audio to minimize stereo distortion.

HE-AAC V2 also includes other audio enhancements in its toolbox, such as mono, error masking, and stereo reduction for playback. Approved and standardized by the MPEG Organization in 2006 (as ISO/IEC 14496-3:2005/Aimd 2:2006), it is commonly known as HE-AAC V2, AACPlus V2, and EAAC+. goes.
